Your Own Pet Sitting Website or Booking Software? You Can Use Both

If you already have clients, your next step does not have to be a full website project. It might be a better way to turn “Are you free next month?” into a confirmed booking without searching messages and spreadsheets.

A website and pet sitting business software do different jobs. Your website introduces your brand. Booking software keeps the work organised. You can choose either first and use them together later.

Choose the tools for your everyday work

A DIY website can be a simple, inexpensive page or a custom project with ongoing support. Costs depend on your domain, hosting, builder, integrations and who maintains them. Get current quotes for your requirements and compare the same currency, billing period and tax basis, including your maintenance time.

Your own site needs maintenance, even if a provider handles most of it. A hosted profile avoids maintaining that page yourself, but it does not replace the design freedom or ownership of your own domain.

What is already built

Free includes your profile, permanent booking link, unlimited bookings, messaging, a client list for up to 10 clients, limited CSV import, report cards and GPS route recording in the browser. You can subscribe to your booking calendar from another calendar app; that is an outward calendar feed, not two-way availability synchronisation.

Pro adds unlimited clients, invoices, review import, reminders to the sitter about rebooking and a bookkeeper CSV export. It does not automatically collect booking payments or connect live to QuickBooks, Xero or MYOB. Clients pay you directly through the instructions and provider accounts you choose.

Check the pricing page for annual prices and current upgrade availability. Built Pro features are not the same thing as an open checkout.

What is on the roadmap

Recurring timed visits, multi-staff scheduling, facility tools and owner-side marketplace discovery are not available today. Report cards and recorded GPS routes are already built; they are not roadmap items. GPS recording is not live tracking for owners.

A direct link works before you request profile review. Human approval plus your search-engine visibility preference makes a page eligible for indexing; neither guarantees rankings, traffic or bookings.

A simple setup with both

  1. Put your story, photos and contact details on your own website if you want one.
  2. Add your permanent booking link as the booking action.
  3. Send that same link to your existing clients by message or email.
  4. Use the client record and calendar for the booking, while continuing conversations wherever you prefer.

You do not need staff, a full roster or a polished brand before this helps. Bring your clients and try the next booking. Judge the setup by whether it saves repeat admin, not by how many tools you can assemble.
